Looking back on everyday events with our Labrador Lila, I am struck by how a total stranger has entered our lives and made herself so utterly at home. In our minds. In our hearts. (On our sofa…in our cupboard!) She has found a place with us. And we with her. So quickly have the years gone by that now I wish time to slow its course that we may savour each new moment.

..absolutely beautiful!! All very quiet here, Lilly’s babies all left today, off to wonderful new homes (just like Lila). Lilly is amazing, such a great mum and such a good girl.
Another visit soon??

Thanks to you both. It has given me great pleasure to share Lila’s life with you. And Ruth, yes, Lilly is amazing…it was she who convinced me that I was indeed ready for another dog! Lila and I would love to come for another visit…perhaps while the weather is still cool?

Any time after the 14th August would suit me perfectly. I agree with a visit while it is still cool, the dogs can have a good run, play and swim and of course I would love to catch up with you.
